Away Runs

Usually take place alternate Tuesdays throughout the Summer months with the start/finish point being a local public house or eatery, details of these will be posted on the notice board in the Leisure Centre and on this page. If you want to eat after the run would suggest getting to the starting point ten minutes in advance so that you can place your order (start times as per club nights unless stated)......

Tuesday 8th July 2008 - The 'Water Station' Run! - Meet: Starcross Car Park @ 6.30 - David.

• Then a leisurely run towards Powderham Church, cross the railway and up along the Exe Canal.
• Carry on beyond The Turf pub for a further mile before turning back.
• At the water station (The Turf) purchase beverage of choice. Please bring money for this. If you’re really sweaty - like me - ask a fragrant friend to go to the bar for you.
• Run (not stagger) back to Starcross, where further revelry is optional.
• NB. Route may be subject to minor change if Gary is running. And let’s hope for a sunny evening!
