Dawlish Coasters Membership Information

Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December. Membership fees are £15 per annum reducing to £10 from 1st July. Joining forms are available on club nights or to download from our website. Forms should be returned with your cheque made payable to "Dawlish Coasters". All runners are classified as GUESTS until membership fees are paid and must therefore pay the £1 fee per club night (50p for members).

On club nights please turn up ready to leave the leisure centre at 6:30 pm (1830 hrs), the runs usually last for approximately 1 hour. Please try to keep together when on the run and do not leave the group without informing the group leader. Please tell the coach if you are suffering from an injury or illness so they can assess your condition to train. The coach may ask you not to train and their decision is final.

When participating in organised races that are permitted by any of the formal athletics governing bodies you must represent Dawlish Coasters and must wear the club colours. If you wish to enter non-permitted races you must do so as an individual runner and must not wear club colours. The club could be reprimanded if members break these rules.

The club is managed by a formal committee who are elected for a term of 12 months at the AGM. This is normally held in November each year. Any paid up member is allowed to stand for a committee post.
